Washington housing market improving for home sellers

Market Update - April 2023

 

Spring is here and the real estate market in Washington State is starting to warm up!!

Over this past month we saw an increase in both the amount of homes going under contract and the amount of homes sold. With knowing that the amount of available homes remain around the same, this shows that home buyer demand has gone up in Pierce County, Washington.

⚡️ Number of homes going under contract increased from 899 to 1,071. While the number of homes sold increased from 722 to 965.

⚡️ Number of homes available remained about the same from 944 to 934 homes.

⚡️ The average price per sqft increased from $279 to $284.

⚡️ The average days a home is on the market before it is either sold or taken off dropped from 55 days to 47 days.
